Guitar. Keyboards. Production.
Scott Kahn is a professional guitar player and keyboard player with stage and studio experience.
Let’s talk about applying my creative talents to your latest band or project.

From progressive rock to pop to
new wave. Melodic music everywhere.
Welcome to my refreshed website, where you can learn a bit more about my musical background.
I am best known as co-founder of the melodic prog rock band, Days Before Tomorrow. Established back in 2008 or so, the band found some commercial success and industry accolades with its debut record, The Sky Is Falling. It was produced by rock industry legend, Ron Nevison, and won Record of the Year in the 2009 Los Angeles Music Awards (it also sold over 10,000 units, which in the years before streaming dominated music delivery, was pretty good for a totally independent artist). I played half of the guitars as well as some of the keyboards on that record.
Now signed to Melodic Revolution Records, we’re getting ready to record our third record, due for release in Spring 2026. You can learn more about DB4T at the band’s website.
Outside of DB4T, I released three records with my new wave inspired, alternative pop rock band, Dream Eternal Bliss. In this band, I primarily played keyboards, plus some guitar on the final, digital-only release. The band was generating great momentum just before the world shut down for the Pandemic. But while the world recovered, the band never really found its footing again.
From House on the Hill, my private studio in Bergen county, NJ, I can record guitars or keyboards on your project, or I can produce and record full bands as my time and interest allows. I am also available for touring should the right opportunity present itself. I have all pro equipment for any scenario: tube amps, modelers, rack gear, physical keyboards, and virtual keyboard rigs on the computer. I can sing backing vocals, too!
When not playing or recording, I can be found writing in the MI space as editor in chief of MusicPlayers.com, the popular online magazine for musicians. I also wrote a popular book about building modern guitar rigs that you can find on Amazon. If you’re a musician, check out MusicPlayers.com for in-depth gear reviews, artist features, and all the latest music news.
